These terms apply to Wealth Log Book (the mobile and desktop apps), Wealth Log Book Automation, the plugin library and this website (together, "the Software"). The Software is made by Zero & Hole ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using the Software, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
The Software is a record-keeping tool. Nothing it shows (totals, charts, goal progress, savings rates, categories or any other output) is financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Make your own decisions, and consult a qualified professional where needed.
The Software, and especially the Automation and its plugins, may misread statements, miss transactions, duplicate them, put them in the wrong category, or calculate figures incorrectly. Banks change statement formats without notice. You are responsible for checking all figures against your original statements before relying on them for any purpose, including tax filings, loans or investment decisions.
The Automation can write prompts for you to paste into an AI chatbot of your choice. Those prompts may contain text from your statements. Whether to use an AI service, which one, and what you share with it are your decisions; that service's own terms and privacy policy apply. Review a prompt and remove anything you don't want to share before pasting it.
Plugins in the shared library are written by other users. They are offered free and as-is. We may review submissions, but we do not guarantee that any plugin is accurate, complete, up to date, or works for your statements. Check a plugin's results before relying on it. If you contribute a plugin (on GitHub or with the app's Share button), you confirm it contains no personal data and that you have the right to share it, and you agree it is published, publicly, under CC0 1.0 (the library's licence: anyone may use, change and share it).
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability or freedom from errors, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Early-access releases may be incomplete or unstable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, money, profits or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Software, including errors in figures, missed or misread transactions, or decisions you make based on the Software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Software in the twelve months before the claim (which is zero for free software and early-access releases). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
The Software works with services we don't control (email providers, operating systems, sync and storage services, AI chatbots, app stores). Their terms apply to your use of them. If you got Wealth Log Book from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply; the store is not responsible for the Software or for supporting it.
We may update the Software and these terms. Changes to the terms take effect when published on this page, with the effective date updated. Continuing to use the Software after a change means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Kottayam, India, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
